Dear Recipient,

The first draft of this email was entitiled "Website Migrations Underway" (hence the image above). It ended up something of an essay as opposed to a brief email announcement so I started over. I've done my best to keep it short and sweet, with links to further information included below.

In Case You Missed It...

Over a year and half ago we received the news that Adobe was shutting down Business Catalyst (BC). The announcement left us with the task of having to find a replacement CMS platform and migrate all of our clients' websites before March September, 2021, the EOL (End of Life) date.

We notified our clients via email on 23 May, 2018 with follow-ups on 4 July and 12 September. At long last, after much research and rigorous testing, we are ready to begin the migration process.

Does this affect me?
Yes, if you're receiving this email, it is because your website is built on Adobe Business Catalyst.

What do I need to do?
You don't need to do anything. We have selected a secure, hosted, open-source CMS platform to migrate your website to. We will be making contact with you individually to discuss specifics.

What will it cost?
The cost of migration will vary from site to site. In certain cases we are offering a low, fixed price fee to encourage our clients to migrate early. If your website is more than 3-5 years old (the average website lifespan), it is a good time to consider a redesign/rebuild.

What does indie.web's new CMS cost?

Can I choose not to migrate my website? The EOL isn't until 2021 - can't I wait?
